Getting to Know: Willie Mullins
Willie Mullins followed the road less traveled. Or in this case, road course. Willie grew up drag racing, alongside his dad and brother in his younger years. He started in the NHRA Jr, Dragster division, before graduating to the Outlaw 10.5 division. In 2005 he decided to make a chance and went to his first SCCA School at the famed Watkins Glen. His passion for road racing only grew from there. In 2006 he was the V8Stockcar Grand National Champion and in 2008 he joined the pro ranks with his first ARCA start. Over his 10 years of road racing, Willie has racked up dozens of wins, 2 Championships, 2 track records and 4 professional starts. All of his success has lead him to becoming one of the top GTSC support teams on the road racing circuit. 10 customer cars race under the Mullins Racing support banner.
Along with the road course racing, Mullins Racing has also stepped into the circle track world. The team made its oval track debut at the 2015 ARCA Daytona 200.
In addition to doing support, Mullins Racing also has rental cars available for the 2016 V8RRS season.
